Beast-things and sea-devils are not the only creatures upon this earth in thrall to Baalor, the Eye in the Ice, the Destroyer of the North, for Man can also be turned - by the simple promise of power, a lure most humans cannot resist and for which they would do almost anything. So it is that Baalor finds them the most delightful of his puppets, for man's willing cruelty and barbarity is a lesson for his scions and siblings alike, their depravity and malice a match even for his own, and those humans that taste his rewards and live almost always rise to become Warriors of Baalor, highly skilled and utterly ruthless fighters with few peers in battle and even fewer equals in wickedness.
