Frost Alfar

From the frozen desolation of Skutagaard emerge the Frost Alfar, savage and elusive spirits of the wild, with glowing azure eyes, pale skin, and long pointed ears. Trained as hunters and warriors, they endure the harsh land by preying upon the great beasts of sea and tundra. Among Dwarves and Northmen they are spoken of as myths to frighten children, for it is whispered that they devour their captives in dark rituals, believing they could absorb their courage. Many still refuse to believe they exist at all, for when a Frost Alfar chooses not to be seen, no eye in Skutagaard can find them. 

Blacktongue Assassins

Under the ashen skies of Nikeza, where Tialevor the Tyrant-God sits upon his Ashen Throne, the Blacktongue Assassins enact their sacred contracts. These arbiters of shadow and death, wielding deadly Ashglass blades, weave a dark tapestry of power and intrigue. They serve as the unseen hand that tempers the fiery disputes of the Ashen Alfar houses of Aera, turning potential wars into whispers of assassination by slaying the right targets. In their absence, the city would collapse under the weight of ambition and betrayal.

Noble Alfar

Once part of a united lineage in the lush Forest of Arba, a clan of Alfar chose the path of war and exile against Tialevor's darkening rule in a forgotten age. In a distant land and time, they are now known as the Noble Alfar, who built resplendent cities where magic and architecture coalesce in defiance of nature’s laws. Governed by the enigmatic Council of the Five Cloaked Magus, they search of a power that might rival the same ancient Lords of Mundus. Cloaked in ornate golden armor, armed with finely crafted weapons, and driven by unmatched zeal and discipline, the Noble Alfar march on a crusade with pride and fervor against the forces of corruption.

Ashen Alfar Inquisitors

The feared and menacing Ashen Inquisitors, from the full plate enchanted armor, built with the hardened ashes of the Old Dragon, keep the lower castes submissive and make sure that no insurgencies arise: freedom of thought is not tolerated in the domain of the Tyrant-God Tialevor.

It is said the sacred wells of the wood Alfar are the secret of their longevity and affinity with nature. The Forest King himself once blessed the alfar wells in the depths of the forest.
