As'th'ermow'th, Blight Prince
|
A few of our BaneLegions miniatures are what we call The Blighted, horrible mushy things with bizarre appendages and rotting flesh and horns and spikes and things all over them. Lovingly converted from many different Darklands miniatures by our very own Tim Fisher, The Blighted afford people a glimpse of what happens when we let Tim loose! His latest creation for The Blighted is As'th'ermow'th, a Blight Prince that was originally the Bog Beast Saillach (sculpted by Allan Carrasco); but he is now a gas-guzzling monstrosity with internal combumtion [sic] engine to power his left-hand-cannon that shoots you in the face with horrible sticky goo - and if that doesn't kill you, he can always knock your block off with his club hand!
Standing on an 80mm base and around 138mm tall, As'th'ermow'th was painted wonderfully by Paul Whittaker and is a fantastic addition to The Blighted. As well as that, he's quite happy to breathe noxious gas instead of air, so he's definitely on topic!

Whilst not converted by Tim, Cungg-Flew is definitely from Tim's mind. A horrifying Vampire Bat of gigantic proportions - he's a little too big for his 60mm base, and he's 97mm tall - this beast was sculpted by Stanimir Kolev and painted disgustingly by Paul Whittaker. And yes, he can still fly even with those ripped, leathery wings!

Why have one when you can have two? That's exactly what Tim thought when Ray-Bies popped into his head! Another Vampire Bat, but not quite as big as Cungg-Flew, Ray-Bies still stands (crouches?) on a 60mm base and is around 53mm tall. Sculpted by Stanimir Kolev and painted by Paul Whittaker, he's more of a ground-based operator thanks to those small arm wings - although we think he could probably swim better with them. There's a terrifying thought...

Gary, Embezzling Ghoul King
|
Tim's other idea was for a human-sized ghoul-thing, and we think Gary fits that description and more. In fact, so ghoulish is Gary that we've given him the title of ghoul king; and as ghouls don't really care about where they get their money or who they betray to get it, we thought he'd also be some kind of thief or cheat. So he's not just a ghoul king - he's also an embezzling ghoul king (and possibly a bit of a sex pest with wandering hands)! Sculpted by Stanimir Kolev again and painted by Paul Whittaker again, Gary stands on a 30mm base and is around 29mm tall.
