The Connachta may suffer mightily under the depradations of the Fomoraic and the Lochlannach but that does not dent their spirit nor their resilience, for their lands have been theirs since the days of Conn of the Hundred Battles and they are determined they will be so for a thousand years hence. Led by the cunning Loingsech mac Colmáin, who succeeded his great rival Rogallach in contentious circumstances, the Connachta can boast the strength of the Fir Bholg amongst their allies, mighty warriors fully twice the size of a man and even more aggressive, warriors who burst the braincases of their enemies with their axes and clubs and slingshots and even their gnarled fists, should no other weapon come to hand.
