The khalkotai are amongst the finest warriors of Atalantia, and perhaps the most fanatical, bonded by suffering and hatred: for they are the survivors, the abandoned; the near-death wounded that the tekhnómaneis deem worthy to repair with the sorcery of the anvil and the hammer. Limbs and thorax - and even skulls - are made good with bronze and the power of the stars, so they can wield sword or spear or even sun-pistols alongside shield and helm.
