Magmaforged Dwarves of the Depths

Deep beneath the surface, where rivers of magma cast their glow upon halls of Vorgul, dwell the trueborn dwarves, the Dumlok. Shaped by the brutal will of survival, they are children of fire and cruelty, hardened by ages of war against the Slathaai and slavery by the fire jotunn. Among the Dumlok now rises a new clan: the Magmaforged, warriors clad in heavy Vorgul armor and trained to ride the mighty delani dragonlings, wingless magma dragons. Relentless in their raids through the upper depths, they seek only slaves, blood, and to expand the dominion of their jotunn masters.

Quest for Goldvein

After emerging victorious from the brutal battle for the Dragonheart, where the dwarves of Lok-Badar and the Dragonpeaks Barbarians fought side by side repelling the Orr'ugs at great cost, the dwarves now turn their resolute gaze to Frostheart Island, where the lost dwarven kingdom of Goldvein now languishes under the tyrannical rule of a dread Great Linnorm.

Lead by the raging hero Tarum Bloodhammer, Warlord Durnir master of great beasts, and the blood priestess of Duum Thyra, a formidable horde of dwarven berserkers and their mighty warbeasts set sail to Frostheart. Driven by ancient grudges, the dwarves prepare to reclaim Goldvein from the jaws of the Linnorm and its vile Lizardmen, or perish in the heroic attempt.

Defenders of Lok-Badar

Below the mountain, where the dwarfs of Lok–Badar reign, honour is measured by strength and skill in craftsmanship. The defenders of this impregnable fortress boast excellent equipment, heavy runic armor and weapons finely decorated by the best dwarven blacksmiths.

Dumlok Flameseekers

The Dumlok, also known as the Dark Flame Dwarves, are the oldest dwarven race. With ashy skin and fiery eyes, they have thick hair that can vary from red to black. These worshipers of the Fire God Omuba live in the depths, near the magma from which they draw power. They hate any race who is not born with the Gift of the Flame, expecially their Dwarven descendants, who were driven out of their territories millennia ago after a massive genocide.

Mountaineers of Skutagaard

The proud Dwarves of Skutagaard, tempered by the cold winds and thousand adversities, are excellent hunters, warriors and artisans who have settled in the core of the Skutagaard mountains. The Mountaineers clan is one of the few clans to live in the surface, in a Dwarven village called Huskald, built on the slopes of snow-capped mountains. Each Dwarven Clan is administrated by a Jarl, a powerful and charismatic leader who is vassal of the elder Mountain King, true ruler of the Dwarves of Skutagaard.

Dwarven Oathbreakers
