To be a daughter of Baalor is to be damned in eternity. Eithne herself knows this, but she chose a different path regardless, a path that wishes neither to destroy nor to create: a path to simply be, to allow all to work together in common cause so that men can live alongside her sons and daughters, with Lúgh and Feada, fight alongside her kin, the Fomorainn-of-the-mist, the unknowable cousins of those beneath the waves. Without such cause, such regard for another, she knows that man and Fomor are destined to be enemies forever.
