Agathae, Signifer [digital]

In Agathae the Byzantii are blessed indeed. Her beauty, her skill at arms, her unwavering courage are exemplars to all around her, for the first rank - where her signum must be borne, must be seen - is where the enemy strikes first. Signa are both a representation of the dauntless might of Byzantia and a temptation, a lure, bait, and so a prized trophy for those who march against the Emperor: and while Agathae lives her signum will never be taken.
