Ferocious beasts like the canesinferni, taller than men, are almost impossible to stop when the fires of Infernus are within them. Sometimes brought to battle above by the demibestiarii, they roam the deserts behind the Gate in packs, hunting for any foolhardy enough to stray in their territory.
