Wulfhere, Fanaberend of Tamtun
Wulfhere, Fanaberend of Tamtun
‘To be the son of the king girds me with duty, and burdens, does it not? Yet it offers freedom, of a kind: freedom to deal with traitors as I see fit, freedom to defend the king and the land from treachery. Die, snake, for snake you be!‘ - Wulfhere, Ætheling of Mierce
Wulfhere is the eldest son of the warrior-king Penda and thus the ætheling, or heir. As the fanaberend or fane-bearer he is a host banner bearer, bearing the banner of Tamtun both on foot and on horse, but you can also grab him as Warrior Wulfhere with sword and shield or spear and shield to act as a generic commander.
