Goodies, Baddies and Uglies

It's far too hot for my northern comfort, but despite the heat I've lots of lovely work in progress images to show you today, along with an update on how things are going with battle hosts and backlogs and so forth...
Goodies
First up, the goodies. You all love new miniatures, right? So let's give you some, starting with the Anglecynn sculpted by the ever-brilliant Rafael Callegari...

These guys are the Youths of Stæford - the ḡeoguth, pronounced ‘yeo-guth’, which eventually did mutate into the modern English ‘youth’. And that's exactly what these guys are - youths! Beardless lads, between the ages of 14-18, young warriors in training; using handed-down weapons and shields, sometimes a bit of armour, these guys are the up-and-coming generation ready to usurp the greybeards... when they get a bit of experience under their belt.
Note: you'll be able to add the realm accessories to the unit if you want to make them from Mierce, Dēra, Eofora or Beornica!
Joining them in the Anglecynn battle host (which will possibly be next month's) are the wereofor of East Anglia, the boar-men!

On the left is the new Broḡa the wereofor theḡn; on the right is the first warrior of the unit, Spetinan. These guys are already looking spectacular and I can't wait to get these out to you all!
Baddies
As I said last time, I'm trying to get ahead of the releases, so Ivan Flaman is also working on a battle host for me this month - namely, the Albainn oghur!

It's early days on these guys yet, but as you can see he's imbued them with a lot more dynamism than the current oghur; which bodes very well for the future. They will look very similar to the oghureach, which Ivan also sculpted; they are lovely, so these guys should be lovely too!
Well, I'm sure they're not lovely if you ever met one. But you get the idea.
Uglies
Remember I was telling you about the new monster tier each month? Well, the sculptor I have been using for that, Kaik, is still working on the brute-beast unit - with excellent results!
Grom
Trugg with two weapons (above), and with great weapon (below)

Anz!
So there's just the great weapon version of Anz to do, and he's finished the unit! These guys are on 80mm bases and will be released properly as the first monster tier offering in July.
...and yes, we'll keep on using his skills...
Getting a Head
With only a week left until June I suspect that Rafael will meet the target more quickly, so June's battle host will probably be the Anglecynn, and July's the oghur. Which means after he's done the Anglecynn, Rafael will be working on August's battle host, but in June. If that makes sense...
...if it doesn't, and even if it does, to summarise: the 2nd of each month, starting in July, will see the battle hosts released on time; and, shock, horror, I'll also have physical versions of the hosts all printed and ready to go too. How cool is that?
Log that Back (Whale)
Many of you will be receiving ograx of Baalor right now, alongside the Jutes, and I'm pretty confident both of them will be done (barring anybody who hasn't updated their addresses with me) by the end of June. The remnants of the mallax hosts are also under way, so you'll be receiving those over the next few weeks too.
I do have a ton of Jute infantry right now so the next lot of day prints will be for the Érainn - the fiannagh! The first proper work on those will occur next week.
As for the monsters, Uuluu the backwhale is still in progress; I've had no end of trouble with the giant base. The Mega 8K printers seem to have given up at the moment so I've added another Mighty 8K to the fold (he's called Conall, bless him) while I try and sort them out; the base would have fit on a Mega 8K, but it definitely doesn't on a Mighty 8K, so I've had to split it into two parts, as you can see...

Part One is still underway, a whopping 55 hours' worth of printjob!

Part Two is done and dusted
Assuming the base that's still printing is good, everything for the whale should be in rubber this week, and the first casts next week. Huzzah!
Ilkulkaag the giant pararacaraceraacerox is also underway, with just the body (which will also be a clamshell like the whale) and the base to print; they should be done next weekend.
After these two are in rubber, it's corpse-dragon printing time! I should get the smaller bits of those done in the next week or so. I'm tentatively saying mid June for the first casts.
That'll do for now chaps and chapesses. I'm off to the pub for a pint. Well, it is Whitsuntide, and this villein could do with a bit of a rest!
