Here's the second set of new releases for 2018 and they are very shiny indeed. There's nine releases this time around (although there's actually twenty miniatures within those releases), all for Darklands and all bloody great. Although we would say that.
The Angelcynn gain the release of Æthelglyth, a miniature from yonks ago that has now been resculpted; the Brythoniaid gain Hunter Carys and Gahwn, a giant man-wyvern; the Infernii gain a Great Axe version of the mighty Krull and a wingless version of Krull, too, called Ammon; and the Ysians gain Bow-Annik, a unit of scouts called Shadow-Drunes and a unit of (rather filthy) Brute-Corruptors, the Corruptors of Kraozon!
{split}
Again, thanks to us being busier than busy bees we've just not had the time to get the release art and descriptions done; but you can still see some good images of each miniature on the website of course.

Sculpted this time around by Yannick Hennebo from the original artwork by Stefan Kopinski, Æthelglyth is a resculpt of the original by Grégory Clavilier and fits our range much better! She's available in metal and resin, too!
Hunter Carys is not a resculpt, but a conversion of his own original by Juan Navarro Pérez and the artwork by Dan Warren. Carys now has a hunter's cloak covered in leaves, the better to sneak up on you with!
Ahhh, Gahwn. Converted by Martin Lavat from the original Typhaggahw by Roberto Chaudon, using artwork by Dan Warren and Des Hanley respectively, Gahwn is a huge man-wyvern armed with a bloody great flint-rock thing and a very cute expression. We love this guy!
Another Infernus demon conversion by Tim Prow (conversion) and Dan Warren (artwork), Great Axe Krull simply gives the original Krull - by Dan Cockersell (sculpt) and Stef Kopinski (art) - a bloody great axe, and a bit of a helmet. He's bloody brilliant!
Yet again converted by Tim Prow / Dan Warren from the original by Dan Cockersell / Stef Kopinski, Ammon is Krull without wings, an earlier stage of the path to ultimate demonhood within Infernus. His weapons, arms and head are interchangeable with Krull's, so you could have him with an axe and punchblade... if you buy the components, of course!
Martin Lavat converted Bow-Annik from Stéphane Simon's original Annik, with Danny Cruz providing the artwork for both. Bow-Annik really does come keen with those arrows of hers!
Here's something that's been around for ages but we've never quite got around to releasing it - mainly through lack of photographs - the Shadow-Drunes of Carn Bran unit! These guys were sculpted by Stéphane Simon from the artwork by Danny Cruz, and comprise Cador the champion and four warriors, Gawen, Massen, Kitto and Santoc. You can purchase them in four forms - as a unit of five with command, ten with command, five without command and ten without command.
Ahhh, the Brute-Corruptors. Nothing quite like them to freshen up your feelings of a February morning! These guys (and gal) are filth, pure filth, which is the way we like our Ysians. Sculpted brilliantly by Jason Hendricks from the artwork by Danny Cruz, the Brute-Corruptors comprise three foul, filthy fellas (and flabby filly) - Fuggug the champion, Udo the fat and the rather tonguey Grung.
Trust us, you'll need that Filth-Spray for these guys!
The last ancestor that we will release, Florus is based upon the likeness of one of our awesome customers, Sebastian Volkmann from Germany. Seb gave us a brilliant brief for another Friesian sell-sword, our first sorcerous ancestor, which became Florus! Sculpted by Juan Navarro Pérez from the artwork by Danny Cruz.
All of the releases above will be officially released on the 3rd of February 2018. That's Saturday, folks, so you can order them right now!
Watch out for the March releases, which should be unveiled soon!
