Expo Tooled Up with 25% off
Rob LaneShare
We're all tooled up at Mierce now, as (while listening to Tool) I've added the Expo Tools range of hobby tools to the webstore. Now you can tool up too, especially as you get an introduction discount of 25% off all their tools!
More Tools than you can Shake a Stick at
Expo Tools have a huge range of hobby tools to get your modelling done properly, from craft knives to needle files to side cutters to pretty much anything else you can think of, and more besides. With over a thousand products, there's so much choice I've split them into ‘doing’ pages to make it a little easier to navigate.
As stated above, you get 25% off the RRP of all the Expo Tools range from now until Monday the 26th of May, so you've no excuse to get tooled up!
Seeing
Need something to see your miniatures better? Visit the Seeing page for lamp magnifiers, desk lighting and headbands.
Measuring
There's no tape measures (which is a bit odd I have to say - they have everything else), but you can find steel rulers, set squares and calipers to Measure things with.
Turning
You may not think that you'll need any Turning tools like screwdrivers or taps and dies for modelling miniatures, but who knows? Maybe your scenery and tabletop will!
Holding
You will definitely need some Holding tools to hold your miniatures or components while modelling though!
Picking
You'll probably also need some tweezers, pliers and what not too, so head for the Picking page!
Cutting
Cutting sprue nubs, shaving mould lines with a craft knife, sawing things to bits? Better get over to the Cutting page then!
Sanding
Getting rid of those pesky mould lines or 3d print support nubs is pain-free thanks to the Sanding page...
Shaping
...and you can also use some Shaping tools to do that too.
Drilling
Pinning your miniature components to each other is essential, especially with big monsters; to make it nice and easy, Expo's range of Drilling tools (and small hobby drill bits) is enormous!
Gluing
While VMS' range of superglues is probably the best out there, it is accordingly quite expensive; Expo have a nice range of Adhesives that are pretty good, and a lot cheaper. Check them out!
Painting
After you've glued, sanded, filled and god knows what else you've done to your miniatures, it's time to paint them. Expo's range of Painting tools does the job!
Storing
Finally, after you've used all the bits you need you might well be left with a few optional extras. Don't chuck them away - use Expo's range of Storage tools to keep them secret, keep them safe!
More to Come...
As I keep saying, there's more hobby stuff to come. Next up I'll be adding the superb range of Pro Arte brushes, the probably the Mr Hobby / Mr Color paints - or maybe Ammo, or The Army Painter... there's so many! - and whatever else I can think of to help you model your Mierce Miniatures.
Until then, keep it Mierce!
