Rowena is a wiḡlere of Beornica, a wily sorcerer of that ancient land who is well suited to support the bear-hosts with her craft. Sculpted by Bob Płociennik from the artwork by Des Hanley, and painted brilliantly by Marc Shucksmith-Wesley, Rowena stands on a 30mm base and is around 30mm to the eye.

Beornhelm, Slēanbera Theḡn was sculpted beautifully by Valentin Zak from the stunning artwork by Danny Cruz, and painted by a newcomer to our range, Mario Ruf. A warchief of the Slēanbera, Beornhelm is exactly what you need to command a host of the bear-men of Beornica for he combines immense strength and durability with a keen mind and a stable temperament. Armed with a mighty two-handed beræx and wearing rough armour, and standing on a 60mm base and being around 76mm tall, Beornhelm is a fantastic addition to any Anglecynn host!

Led by its champion Osbeorn (who has been around as a miniature for a while), the Slayers of Dunholm, Slēanbera Unit contains six more warriors (at least, within the Slēanbera Bundle) - the totally new banner bearer Ragenald, the new herald Thawart and four warriors, Cæna, Ewart, the new Ragenhelm (the alternate warrior version of the banner bearer) and the new Thawaint (the alternate warrior version of the herald). So, four new warriors tto go with the existing three Slēanbera!

Painted beautifully by Mario Ruf, the Slayers of Dunholm were all sculpted by Valentin Zak from the artwork by Danny Cruz. They really are fantastic, chunky sculpts that are full of character and interesting accoutrements. Armed with mighty double-handed beræxes they are absolutely brutal enemies in combat; and wearing rough armour combined with their thick hide and dense fur means they're pretty survivable, too. They should form the backbone of any Beornica host and, indeed, work amazingly well in any pagan Anglecynn host when combined with the deadly wælwulfas of the Miercna.

The three original members of the Slayers of Dunholm have been around for a while, of course, and many of you awesome Miercenaries will have purchased them in days gone by. If you feel you need to bring them up to the full unit of seven, you can grab hold of the Slayers of Dunholm (4x warriors) bundle, which is a little cheaper than buying them individually!

The fantastic new Balg was sculpted brilliantly by Allan Carrasco from photographs of existing bears today. Painted expertly by Paul Whittaker, Balg is a frēabera - meaning, great bear - that can be brought to battle by the Beornice to either fight on its own to defend their lands or to accompany their units in battle. Even the wild animals of Beornica fight for their future!

Ergred is a powerful bædubera, a defiler-bear, the greatest of the man-bears the Anglecynn can field. Armed with a brutal beræx and - rather ironically - a bear-trap to throw and entrap the enemy, Ergred was sculpted by Allan Carrasco from the artwork by Kurt Jakobi, and painted brilliantly by Graham Shirlie. Standing on an 80mm base and around 85mm tall to the eye - which translates to around sixteen feet tall - even a single bædubera strikes terror into the enemies of the Beornice.
