Storage and transport

Postby loftybloke » Wed Jun 19, 2019 1:49 pm

Hi All

Whilst I excitedly wait for my Brythoniad to ship I was wondering how people store/transport such huge models? I'm more a painter than a gamer so. I will hopefully have them in a cabinet at home but when I go to events the larger models make me wonder!

Thabks :)

I have magnetised the bottom of some of my minis bases then have Really Useful Boxes with magnetic sheets on the bottom.

Alternatively you could look into cases such as felderr which I use for my infantry

Thabks. I magnetise really useful boxes for my other systems so I'll have to buy a different sized one at a guess for the larger guy from the Brythoniad set :)

What you'll want to do is get a taller and wider one than a standard box.

I'd recommend looking at the wocor for height clearance as his wings make him the tallest model and the draiggoch for width and his spread out more.

As mentioned on this thread I use Really Usefull boxes with Magnets for thee bigger models, tallest I have at present is about 180mm, and for my infantry and anything basically on 50 - 60mm Base Ive got a big Tabletop Tyrant Dreadnought case..
Devlin Brightblade, Lord of Saxon Hammerwich, Slayer of Trolls, Tamer of Manticores, Petter of Flint Flang the Kill Thing from the Infernal Pits..

As you slide down the Bannister of Life, may the Splinters be kind...

Cheers, I just need to see the scale of Aradae Mawr so i can gauge it against my current stockpile of Really Useful Boxes :P

What do you guys stick into the bottom of the boxes ? I just use ferrous steel rubber sheet (fridge magnet) type stuff
