Maybe you have already seen my Infernii WIP - but now the time has come for my snake(wo)men. And this moment in time, where I became addicted in converting minis from Mierce...
Let´s start with some paint jobs:
Ophios:
Sthena:
And my first conversion, Euryale. Build from Euryalia and Chysperis:
It was so much fun to create this real, snake-haired gorgon. But - there are three gorgons in greek mythology, right? After creating Euryale I bought a vacuum and a pressure chamber and started many experiments. After 6 months of testing I found my setup to bring my conversions and self-castings to the next level.
The following two gorgon sisters are assambled only to take these photos and are disassembled directly after that. So please excuse the greenstuff only added to hold the pieces in place. The heads are added from older photos via photoshop, because I did not have the patience to assemble these tons of snakes temporarily again...
Stheno. Euryalia (or better: Lamashti) and Chysperis again as organ donor. Plus multiple parts from other Mierce minis, recasted parts (to bring them in other poses during curing process) and some self-sculpted snakes (which have teeth today ):
And, of course, Medusa. The gorgon queen. And I can tell you: It was hard work to bend her around this pillar!
Feedback and criticism welcome, guys! Maybe there are too many skulls added to Medusa - please tell me what you think...
