Thank you guys, I'll try the same (better, if I can) glowing effect in the pyrokolossos' hands when they arrive, with more white and yellow for the firing hand, it should look nice.
Next for me are a big Norse bird and erik longaxe, for a diorama...

Might be slightly too purple on that scorpion tale, but I can't be arsed to redo.
I did redo the wings several times, making a bit of a mess in the process of stripping them, hence the speckled paint everywhere. Had to mentally slap myself, in the end, to stop obsessing and just stick with it.

Well we've talked about it in our most recent podcast that will be out to listen to fairly soon (I've derped more than I usually do and so Paul has some careful editing to do) but as the curtain is opening on the 2019 challenge, I thought I'd take this opportunity to thank everyone who has taken the time to post their stuff in the 2018 challenge. After a reasonable start I have to admit that I have failed miserably to maintain anything like a decent output throughout this year and have closed with a paltry score of 22. Tut Tut Hugh, must try harder.

Hats off to Jonathan who went straight into beast mode and got his challenge done inside of the first three or four days or so.

Antoine and Grizzle both have done some excellent work and if they haven't got 100 models done, they're pretty close and have given me a load of ideas to steal and use on my ysians. Thank you both very much for your contributions.

Honourable mention to obiwan the darklands jedi and James is making a late mad dash to get as near to the 100 mark as his sanity and work load will allow.

I promise to get more done next year than this year and I look forward to seeing what the rest of yooz bring to the thread.

Well done everyone, in January can someone count up everyone's score and I may be persuaded to give a prize to the winner...

I’be found my krokodar I started and got almost done with and my dewindraig is not far off so will get them done for this year and keep stuff aside for the new year

Done my three krokodar and the dewindraig for a total of 127 unit strength painted this year.

Hror, 40mm base should have been 2 points, and Cearl, 50mm base should have been 3 points, that makes 126 Points Based...

Haha By that surely I won doing it in about five weeks starting much later

In all seriousness depending on if basing was required its either myself with 127 or if unbased Brightblade with 305

Let's not fight, people... perhaps everyone who got to 100 should get a prize...
