Say hello to the Bad Guys!

Postby EVL HMR » Sat Oct 19, 2013 1:16 am

After a few months away, I've got back into my resin pile. I've had accidents and incidents, my Krull got sprayed a lovely yellow after I forgot to move him from air brush range! Not to worry, a nice bath in Simple Green cleared him right up, so I decided I'd change hgis colour from traditonal red to a far darker red/brown. Also started on Carrowek on foot, using purple as a tie in, which is proving a tad difficult but it's good to push.
Anyway, enough babble, here's my boys thus far. Image

Let me know where I'm going right / wrong or any other nonsense

Cheers fellas

You can get at them via image properties (not sure why they're not showing) so I've reposted 3 of them them for Evl Hmr (I can't get no 4 to work either)

The Minsk

Nope, it's a scythe! I'll add another picture with both weapons once I get a base coat sprayed this week.

Thanks for the comments guys, more pic's this week...

Well it's taken way too long, but I haven't been not painting, just that stupid thing called real life getting in the way! Anyway, here's some more progress, mainly laying down base coats and first shadows/highlights... Oh, and Uncle Meat too, although not a Mierce figure, it's a JAG sculpt, and I love them both.
I have started to build some bases too, Krull is way too big for traditional handling so my standard Fimo & Milliput rocks, actual dirt and stones for a touch of realism.

Any help, pointers etc always appreciated.

Different things now. Dragon men! only the undercoat and base layers been laid down, 99% of this done with my airbrush! I'm beginning to get some form of control from it now. Oh, and my bases. I'm going destroyed, luxury, time forgotten etc. Real dirt, Scibor elven base parts, real twigs, some flint and some fimo/milliput rocks. Grasses and water added later on.

Remove the first and last [img] from each link. That should correct things :-)

Excellent, thanks Andy. Way too big, I can see every flaw possible now. Time to get the sandpaper out again.
