Vorpalcutter shenanigans

Hey Rob, this one came up in a game awhile ago and we never submitted it

Vorpalcutter Jute artifacts allows the bearer to basically shift up to 3d10 in any direction during activation or reactivation. How does this work in relation to ardent mounts/carriage engines? I’d definitely agree if the noble were on a beast mount they’d also shift move with it. But I wasn’t hugely convinced the Ettinwiht war tower with the noble on with this item could shift move with it?
Guess it could be a big risk/big reward situation though?

The vorpalculter wouldn't take the mount or engine with him; I'll clarify that though! He would take a beast mount with him.
