Elixir of Andia and invoking

Hey Rob,
So the Elixir of Andia has the following rules:
Painkiller: when drunk at any point in his activation or reactivation, the Elixir of Andia gives the drinker the ‘tough’ trait until the end of the battle hour. Additionally, should the drinker be reduced to 0 WOUNDS in the same battle hour after the Elixir of Andia is drunk (no matter how many times he is killed), he will remain on 1 WOUND until the end of that battle hour.
Does this mean an invoker can take it, pop the Elixir and burn endless wounds for, essentially, infinite range on focus invocation until the end of that battle hour?
Also earth range?
You could then use the ring of Cynan to get your wounds back up as well.
Let me know what you think.
