Limited myself to the Norse Troll Starter.... only now I'm sorely tempted to add the Formoraic Tarvax Starter and Baintaac too, at least that way I'd be able to supply my opponent's force.

Beyond the Kickstarter I'll be adding Gamla Bror and Bloodmaw to the Norse and Galagaak to the Tarvax.

Keeping my tabletop clear of infantry; the more monsters the better =]

If you're adding a unit of 10 Duguth you might as well add another starter, you'll get duplicates of the free bies, but you can always trade/swap/practice on them

Mierce have said Cearl is definately NOT going to be part of the unit of Werewulfa, he's a warchief not a unit chamption

i'm tempted to pick up a drune infantry set, gamla bor, and blood maw, but to save money (and since i don't have stats or rules yet), i'll probably proxy the opposing side and/or paint my dragon white and pretend he's a friend of the trolls... gamla also seems like a lot for a single model.

post-KS i'll be getting griminn and probably the raven girl, but i'd like to see stats and sculpts on them (and the pre/post price difference on 30mm-ish models isn't very big).

I'd definately say get the alt helmed Penda as he's going to be hard to get if you want him after (and as I've ordered him, I'm bound to say that)

I was trying to ballance my forces too, but I'm holding off on the Werewulfa unit until the next KS, so there is always going to be some discrepancy in model count until then I think, you seem to have pretty ballanced forces there though so I don't think you'll have too many problems.

Regarding the Unit=/=start decision, I think the starters are fantastic value, but only if you want the full infantry haul and are able to get rid of or want the duplicate characters

Your probably right about the Penda on horse, I suppose it makes sense to get him now rather than be upset i missed my chance. I've left a message on the KS page, and if MM can cancel the extra 5 duguth without too much effort i'll just add in another starter.

I'm sure there'll be things to swap out for.

Hello folks.
Well after reading the comments on the kickstarter and on this thread, I'm feeling a buy inadequate! I've 'only' got the Ysian drunes and a couple of the in kindred extras. No monsters or beasts. I'm a painter rather than game player. I'm already sketching ideas for a display base for them.

Here is my list of what I am getting. I wanted to add a heck of a lot more, but unfortunatly, I can't afford anymore at the moment. I am taking a gamble with Druc, Brynhild and Grimmin, but I hope that MM will assign awesome sculptors to them (I think you can see by my picking what sculptors I enjoy the most. :p). I might go back and add more later, as I really enjoy the concept arts for the trolls and tarvax, but I might wait with them for the next KS. :p

Well, decided to add in the stuff I was on the fence about: Carrowek on horse, Mjagnir, and Aradae Mawr (whose concept art got silently updated, in case nobody had noticed). On top of that, the concept art convinced me to get Jowan and the hounds. And since I'm already getting Carrowek on Horse, Hedroc, and Jowan, I added a Ysian Drune starter so they'd have someone to play with. Way to open my wallet again, Mierce!

Yeah I wanted to get Jowann didn't manage to get the cash though only managed £20 so got the awesome looking Qaano to join in my Fomoraic. Though a couple of friends of mine pitched in at the last minute after they saw the quality of Uuthull and Talos as I was working on them.

So got a friend playing Angelcynn (Starter set, Creoda and Penda on Horse) and another Brythoniaid (2 Starter Sets, Glaun and Angrislaug). I've told them to get registered here but they're both kind of busy.
