Re: lessons learnt from games.
The rules have changed slightly but the last time I faced him with Khthones I destroyed his axe with one of their spells which massively cut down his damage output. It now doesn't totally remove his attacks but it reduces the attack dice to 1 and removes any bonuses from weapon abilities (+D10 etc)....

Re: This Swamp is just big enough for the two of us
It's gorgorar that are the ranged female snakes. Gorgonar are the male combat snakes (ehich I think you have). Krokodar are bloody fantastic too. Great tanks, but the extra cost per model really hurts when you're needing 3 in a unit. I think khthones are still struggling to find a balance under the ...

Should add, for the cost I found gorgonar very efficient, fairly cheap and good damage output whilst fulfilling your mainstay needs.

It's the impact of 2 big monsters. You have max 8 activations and most of the army wants to be in combat. Gorgorix, gorgoragos and vasilisk are your only ranged threats so generally opponents will control the flow of the game. I've not tried the vasilisk tho, so maybe it's attack is good enough to h...

If you look at the bottom of the unit entries it lists the models per Mierce. In this example the hydra appears to be called Ygandr, KTH-HYD-8101 but you're listing what I think is the banebeasts Hydra that was done to match more like the WFB aesthetic. Normally it's done through the addition of arm...

Like Alex I have no desire to learn how to do 3d printing. I know a few people who've played about with it and it's still a bit of a faff. Sound advice that from Rob, it's the right balance of really great detailed models and not too much crap on them that gives you the ability to basecoat & wash for a decent 'tabletop' standard and then you can build from there with highlights as desired. If you look at my painting blog you can se...

Off top of my head looks ok as you can muster a character as an individual under someone else's command so don't need 3 commands. I think you need to muster a unit of gorgonar under each of gorgon & gorgonarch because their special rules. Though not if gorgon is seen to trump gorgonarch but as w...

Thanks,
I have to admit I'd totally missed the Bound ability on the Fir Bholg, that definitely helps free up some options in the list.
I'll be playing about with this muster a lot trying to get a nice mix of stuff into the force as I really like the look/feel of the Erainn.
