Re: Initiative
The unit that you activate when you retain must always be lively, however the commander that causes them to activate (ie the one that does the retaining) can be eithet lively or alert. Mustered champions can only retain with the unit they are part of so in that instance they must be lively to maintain

Yep looks like a good list to start learning with, although your opponent might not thank you for taking Behema, he hits like the tank he looks like. Might be worth trying to squeeze in some magic just to get a feel for it too, but up to you really. I haven't checked but make sure the three units au...

Re: Initiative
I believe that it's the commander that needs to be lively or alert, while the unit has to be lively.
So if a unit champion is retaining he would have to be lively as he can only retain with his own unit

delay Roll Result of 0
If you roll a zero on the delay table and there are no enemy units flanking, what happens? Presumably nothing but thought I should check. Was wondering if there was perhaps supposed to be a +1 modifier to the roll (as there is a -10 modifier to the result needed for the flank roll) if there are no e...

Re: Direct Engagements with Scouts/Flankers
Thematically I think it's correct that flankers don't have access to the direct engagement actions, as it specifies that units on flank orders are keen to take the enemy by surprise wherever possible. If you are on flank orders you have to be deployed off the table, and if you are changed to flank o...

Re: Fearsome and valour test
I think that's an error in the PDF, I think it should be that if you are not fearsome or terrifying and are engaging a terrifying unit you become afraid whatever happens and become shaken if you fail but it does say that the bit about becoming afraid if you pass also applies if they are fearless. I ...

You can take units at either their compelled/influenced ubiquity or their 'natural' ubiquity so it would probably be enough to state in your list what ubiquity you are counting them as but you could mark them 'compelled' or 'influenced'

Interesting situation arose in a game tonight. My tuanagh fled within 5" of my bog beast meaning he became shaken, which in turn - as far as I can tell - means he is unable to make any kind of engage move except attack move. He was on attack orders and was within pace distance of another enemy ...

Pretty simple, and not 100% convinced it's the best way but make sure it's black, either the bare plastic or painted if it's another colour for some reason, then apply a few layers of thinned down coelia green shade (with lahmium medium rather than water) and brush it towards the edges, in a couple ...
